Passion is all you need
First of all, in my opinion Isabel Allende in the speech have a very good way to express, is fluently and interesting to the viewers, her posture is right and the pronunciation correct. The most interesting that I found in the speech was the mention of his main character and the similitudes that they had, for examples all were women and the most important, one of the central points, all the character had a very passionate heart. She also talks about the women that inspired because they’re passion, and I agree with her about we have to fight for all the woman on the world who are discriminated and don’t treated as should. A phrase that I loved was “The men rule the world and look what we have”.
In my opinion the sexism in my country doesn´t show in public frequently, but in the regular life of the Chileans is very common and often doesn’t recognised it. One of the principal examples are the publicity and the national television, the types of gender are so defined in the context of friendship and family.
I have to say that I don’t believe in the differences of the gender roles, the men and the women must be equal in all forms, we are we humans with the same rights and duties.

In conclusion, I totally agree with the speech of Isabel Allende, I loved the way that she covered the topic, the only that left to do it is make possible all that she wrote in it papers, make a world where all the people can be free and without discrimination, the best way to do that is trying to expand these ideas to the circles and slowly teach all the people the right way to do some thinks.

  1. It is true that a speech, like Isabel Allende did, is a powerful way to reach and to sensibilise people about this important and trans-generational topic. Indeed, like you said, we have to realize that, in ours developed countries, we are lucky to not be directly confronted with those social inequalities. Nevertheless, the gap concerning the gender inequalities is reduced but persists, like you wrote, for instance, in a lot of institutions or people’s mind.

  2. I like the way you think! We should all work together in making this world a better place for everybody despite their gender and we can do that by educating ourselves

  3. You're so right when you say that sexism is not seen in public, but it is in private, or in a "hidden" way on TV or publicity. Your observation about the way how Isabel express her speach, that is veyr important when we give a message. See you soon

  4. Well everyone already said that, but I quite agree when you say that sexism is hidden in the tv. Chile is a country very polarized about the gender roles. See u man
